Dark Energy as the Gravitational Feedback of Mass-Varying Dark MatterOrateur: Andre Fuzfa (FNRS/University of Namur)In order to describe both dark matter (DM) and dark energy (DE), we have introduced* the AWE (Abnormally Weighting Energy) hypothesis in which the dark sector experiences background space-time with a different gravitational strength than ordinary visible matter. This relaxation of the Weak Equivalence Principle results in a violation of the Strong Equivalence Principle which allows to describe cosmic acceleration as an increasingly stronger gravitational coupling of ordinary matter to the background expansion. From the point of view of visible matter, the existence of two different gravitational running scales appears as a Mach-Dirac mechanism where the variation of the mass of the DM particles induces a variation of baryon's gravitational coupling. The corresponding DE mechanism exhibits AWEsome properties: (i) it does not require any negative pressures in the Einstein frame; (ii) it offers a natural way out of the coincidence problem through the order unity amplitudes of the nonminimal couplings; (iii) it suggests an explanation to the remarkable adequacy of the concordance model LCDM, (iv) it avoids an eternal cosmic acceleration and finally (v), its adequacy with cosmological data indicates a reciprocal relation between the gravitational strengths of the visible and invisible sectors. From this agreement on cosmological scales, we deduce an intriguing constraint on microphysics expressed by the space-time dependancies of the masses scales $m_b\;M_{DM}(x^\mu)/ m_{Pl}2(x^\mu)=m_b\;M_{DM}0/ (m_{Pl}0)2$, where the upperscript $0$ stands for the bare values. This relation could put a new light on the microscopic nature of gravitation...

SuperIso and new constraints from B physicsAbstract: SuperIso is a new program for calculating the isospin symmetry breaking in B-> K* gamma decays, in the MSSM with minimal flavor violation. This program calculates the NLO supersymmetric contributions to the isospin asymmetry, using the effective Hamiltonian approach and within the QCD factorization method, as well as the inclusive branching ratio associated to b -> s gamma transition, as a comparison reference. I will show that isospin asymmetry proves to be a very restrictive observable, in particular in the mSUGRA parameter space.Orateur: Dr Nazila Mahmoudi (Uppsala U.)
