The school is also funded by the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and the Asia-Pacific Centre for Theoretical Physics (APCTP), Pohang, Korea, as an external activity.
The 24th VSOP will be devoted to particle physics and cosmology, both theory and experiment. In addition to fundamental knowledge of Quantum Field Theory, Standard Model (SM), QCD and Monte Carlo methods, the lectures will cover experimental methods for collider searches at the LHC, theories beyond the SM, cosmology and dark matter.
