Auditorium Pierre Lehmann (LAL Orsay)

                                                   

 

LSST est un télescope de 8,40 m de diamètre à grand champ (10 degrés carré), équipé d'une caméra de 3,2 Gpixels, destinée à prendre des clichés du ciel à travers 6 filtres colorés à large bande. Ce dispositif effectuera un relevé systématique du ciel qui durera au moins 10 ans. Chaque région du ciel étudié (18000 degrés carré) sera observée environ une fois tous les quatre jours (indépendamment de la couleur) avec une pose de 30 s.
