9th France-China Particle Physics Laboratory
Workshop
Amphithéâtre Grünewald
STRASBOURG
The France China Particle Physics Laboratory (FCPPL) was established according to the agreement between CAS, CNRS and CEA in April 2007. The aim of the joint laboratory is to promote the cooperation between France and China in particle physics. Following its creation in 2007, cooperation programs have been set up and funded through this laboratory.
The Hubert Curien Pluridisciplinary Institute (IPHC) is pleased to invite you to the ninth edition of the FCPPL workshop in 2016. The workshop will take place from March, Wednesday 30th (at around 8:30 am) to April, Friday 1st (evening) in the outskirt of Strasbourg.
IPHC is one of the twenty CNRS/IN2P3 institutes. It was set up in 2006 and as a mixed research unit, part of CNRS and of the University of Strasbourg. It brings together : the departement of ecology, physiology and ethology (DEPE), the department of subatomic research (DRS), and the deparment of analytical sciences (DSA).
Main areas of research of the DRS are fundamental research in particle physics and nuclear physics, as well as more applied areas such as radiochemistry and radiation or biomedical imaging.
