The next FAZIA days will be held in GANIL (Caen) from 25th to 27th of June. While we strongly encourage fazians to join us in Caen, remote participation will be possible using the following link :

Heavy Ion Laboratory at University of Warsaw for the FAZIA collaboration - new ideas30m
The Heavy Ion Laboratory at UW has been participating in the FAZIA project for a long time.
Works on a development of semiconductor detectors for charged particles conducted at HIL by
Andrzej Kordyasz was one of the Polish contributions to the FAZIA detector construction.
Currently, the FAZIA detector collects data in subsequent experimental campaigns.
The problem of radiation damage to semiconductor detectors used on the heavy ion beams is the
subject of research at HIL. The use of the annealing technique to remove the e ects of radiation
damage may be the next stage of cooperation between the HIL and FAZIA collaboration.
