Description
Recent multi-wavelength observations have revealed molecular clouds as important sites of the star formation process and high-energy phenomena in our galaxy. This central position calls for new developments at the boundary of different fields: cosmic-ray acceleration and propagation in the interstellar medium, matter irradiation and ionic radical production, diffuse high-energy radiation, magnetohydrodynamics turbulence, dynamics of star formation... The purpose of the workshop is to bring together experts working on these different topics and to have them present and discuss the latest theoretical, numerical, and observational developments. The workshop will also give an opportunity to all interested researchers and students to have an up-to-date overview of a new and promising field in modern astrophysics. LOC: F.Acero, F.Feinstein, M. Gadouche, A.Marcowith SOC: F.Feinstein, K. Ferrière, A.Marcowith, T. Montmerle The workshop is supported by the PPF astroparticule Toulouse-Montpellier: http://www.ast.obs-mip.fr/users/ablancha/amt/
