Marian Smoluchowski Institute of Physics, Jagiellonian University in Kraków

Our work focuses on construction of the whole-body plastic PET scanner (J-PET), but our activities includes the topics from standard NEMA norm and image reconstruction adapted to out whole-body scanner, through usage of PET to monitoring in proton therapy, up to the development of the novel tomography techniques based e.g. of the positronium lifetime or polarization degrees of freedom.

While using GATE we have also developed several functionalities that could possibly be interesting for the whole GATE community.
