Guidelines for talks and poster

Talks

All talks are given during plenary sessions.

  • Speakers should pay attention to their allocated time indicated in their contribution page: either 17' or 20' always including 5' for questions.
  • Presentation files will be displayed from the amphithear computer, not your computer. Slides should be uploaded on the indico site the day before your session.
  • The prefered file format is PDF. Rendering of PowerPoint or LibreOffice native format can not be guaranteed. Keynote files are not accepted.
If you anticipate difficulties, please contact us in advance at iphc-pixel2024@unistra.fr.
  •  A remote control for slides scrolling and mouse pointing will be available. It is not a laser pointer.

Posters

Posters will be displayed on metallic stands located in the WInter garden, the area devoted to cofee breaks and accessible during all the conference. The poster session is held on Thursday afternoon, right after a lunch buffet taken in the Winter garden. In addition, each poster will be briefly announced by a convener during a specific session in the amphitheater on Thursday morning.

  • A0 format is preferred but smaller ones will do.
  • Presenters should bring their poster printed. In case of serious issue, ermergency printing is possible in Strasbourg but should be required on Tuesday afternoon at the latest.
  • Poster can be installed in their allocated stand already on Monday and at the latest on Thursday morning.
  • Clips are provided
