Reaching Santiago de Compostela by plane:
Santiago de Compostela Airport (SCQ) is only 10 km away from the city centre. Taxis have a 21 EUR flat rate. Public bus transportation is also available with connections every 30 minutes with stops at the airport, train station, the city centre and the bus station (in the northern part of the city). The lines that operate at the airport are: Aer Lingus, Air Europa, Air Nostrum, Easy Jet, Evelop, Gestair, Iberia Express, Ryanair, Swiss International Airlines and Vueling Airlines. There are direct international connections to Amsterdam, Basel, Frankfurt Int, Frankfurt Hahn, Geneva, London, Milan, Paris and Rome. Several Spanish airports with international connections are directly connected to the airport of Santiago: Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Canarias, Madrid, Málaga, Palma, Valencia, etc.
Coruña (LCG, 60 km) and Vigo (VGO, 90 km) airports also offer national and international connections. Both airports are connected by motorway (less than an hour from Santiago). Porto Airport (OPO, 200 km), which is also connected by motorway with Santiago, offers direct flights to more than thirty international destinations in Europe.

Accomodation in Santiago:
Santiago has more than 120 establishments, including small charming hotels in the historical quarter and new hotels belonging to well-known global companies. We recommend that participants should book their accommodation as early as possible.
The organisation has booked a few (10) rooms in the University Residence Halls (URH), close to the Physics Faculty at a reduced price, for a limited period. Please, contact as soon as possible to the local organisers in order to require a room at the URH.

Workshop venue:
The Workshop venue is the "Aula Magna"at the Physics building, situated in the Campus Vida of the University. It is a ~20 min. walk from Obradoiro square, in front of the Cathedral.

Lunch
The University has several canteens in the Campus. The regular menu (two-course meal, drink, and dessert) is around 5.70 €. You can find in the map the canteens closest to the workshop venue.
