The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) is a world leading international intergovernmental scientific research organisation established since 1956 by eleven founding States. It is situated in Dubna not far from Moscow in the Russian Federation

The main fields of JINR's activity are theoretical and experimental studies in elementary particle physics, nuclear physics, and condensed matter physics.

This event honours the first visit of Frederic Joliot-Curie to JINR 60 years ago and 45 years of collaboration between JINR and CNRS-IN2P3. It aims to present the activities of JINR to a larger audience in France.

Some memories of Jeanne Laberrigue-Frolow who participated at the visit of Frédéric Joliot-Curie at Dubna in 1958
