Description
An extension of the Standard Model by three right-handed (sterile) neutrinos with their masses
below the electroweak scale allows to explain the data on neutrino flavor oscillations,
allows for generation of baryon asymmetry of the Universe and provides a dark
matter candidate. Dark matter made of sterile neutrinos can be warm, cold or mixed and satisfies all
existing astrophysical and cosmological bounds. I will overview these bounds and discuss the prospects
for future searches.
