This information is intended to you as a participant to this event (school, workshop or hackathon).

As organisers of this event, we don't foresee to provide devices for you to connect to the network, so please bring your own computing device. Only wireless network connectivity will be provided. Details on how to get connected are given in a specific page.

The provisions of the current state of emergency in France require us to ask your identification document at the reception desk. So please bring a valid identification document every day in order to enter the event venue. Only registered participants who show a valid identification document will be allowed to enter the site. In addition, you will be subject to baggage check every time you enter the site.

The venue of this event is a non-smoking site. There are however some designated smoking areas outside of the building that you will easily find.

Information about the agenda is subject to minor changes before the event starts and even during the event. So no paper version of the agenda will be provided. The most up-to-date information about this event is accessible via http://lyon2017.lsst.fr.

As organisers of this event, we would really appreciate you notify us if you registered but finally cannot attend. Please refer to the menu on the left for details on how to contact us.

Please note that no breakfast will be provided at the venue. We do plan to have coffee and tea breaks. See the timetable for details.

Visits to the data center machine rooms

Guided group visits to IN2P3 computer center machine rooms are proposed to all the registered participants. You received instructions by e-mail on how to register. The dates and times of those visits are available in the timetable.
