Description
In my talk I will give an overview of the connections between exclusion processes (including multispecies), combinatorics, and orthogonal polynomials (including Koornwinder polynomials). I will try to give some insight about why these connections exist, and how one can use them in applications. This is based on joint works with Sylvie Corteel and Olya Mandelshtam.
