Le CPTG organise ses 5èmes "Journées de Physique Théorique". Le but de ces journées est de permettre des échanges entre physiciens théoriciens travaillant dans des domaines très variés. Tous les physiciens, théoriciens et expérimentateurs, y sont les bienvenus.
La journée se déroulera à Annecy (au LAPTh), deux thèmes seront abordés:
- Transitions de phase
- Astroparticules
Les présentations seront en anglais.
De plus, une table ronde sur l'évolution de l'enseignement en Master dans les universités de Grenoble et Chambery aura lieu après le repas de midi.

The CPTG organizes its 5th "Journées de Physique Théorique". The purpose of the workshop is to enable exchanges between theoretical physicists working in various fields. All physicists, theorists and experimentalists, are welcome.
The meeting will be held in Annecy (LAPTh), two topics will be addressed:
- Phase transitions
- Astroparticles
Talks will be given in English.
Furthermore, a round table discussion on graduate studies in Grenoble and Chambery universities will be held after lunch.

Astroparticules (astroparticles)

The last decade has seen the emergence of "precision" cosmology, with exquisite precision data collected
and more and more reliable theoretical predictions to compare them to. Julien Lesgourgues will give an
overview of this field, presenting some of the ongoing challenges and efforts with scientific cases in
Cosmic Microwave Background anisotropy analyses, in particular related to Planck.
Aurelien Barrau will show how these kinds of observables may be used to shed light on physical phenomena
at extremely high energy scale (like inflation) possibly related to quantum gravity aspects.

Another pillar of current astroparticle activities is the identification of dark matter. Andreas Goudelis will
present some model-building paths to address this issue from the particle physics perspective and their
link with collider searches. David Maurin will outline the challenges of indirect detection of dark
matter candidates via cosmic ray messengers, presenting some techniques and tools required to tackle
e.g. the forthcoming high precision data from AMS-02.
