Astrophysics subjects are also being studied in experiments like AMS, HESS and Virgo. The future is being prepared with teams working on ILC, CLIC, CTA, SuperB and LHC upgrades. The experimental teams work in close contact with LAPTH, a theory laboratory hosted in the same building.
