Europe is currently transforming its e-Infrastructure landscape from a project-based approach into a more permanent setting through initiatives such as EGI and PRACE. This new situation affects not only the computational scientist, but also the centers providing resources to the research communities. The Leibniz Supercomputing Centre is such a service provider, with customers on local, regional, national, and European level. Consequently, strategies need to be developed in order to adapt to this situation and to provide the best service to scientific computing in Europe.
