Welcome party:
A welcome reception will take place on Sunday evening.
Local Products Reception:
A reception featuring local products including oysters, wine, and other regional specialties will be organized during the week.

Excursion:
An excursion will be organized during the week, either as a catamaran sailing session at sea or as a boat tour around Fort Boyard. We encourage participants to bring a swimsuit and any other equipment they may need to fully enjoy the excursion and the local opportunities for water-based activities.
Evenings:
The evenings at La Vieille Perrotine are an opportunity to enjoy a drink — alcoholic or non-alcoholic at the village bar, to sing together, and, for those who wish, to dance.
Alternatively, participants are warmly invited to enjoy the friendly atmosphere of Oléron Island by bringing along something to share, such as board games, card games, or any other favorite pastime. There will also be opportunities for a table tennis tournament between different labs or simply between colleagues who have just met.
For those who prefer peace and quiet, the surrounding park and forest are spacious enough to offer plenty of calm places to read, relax, or simply enjoy the setting.
Do not hesitate to bring any equipment related to your favorite hobby.
Bicycles:
La Vieille Perrotine will provide a free bicycle to each participant during the whole stay. The island of Oléron is a perfect for biking, with many cycle trails (check the cycle network here), we hope that the weather will let you discover the island during the leisure time!
