ROOT is an open-source scientific analysis framework providing a large set of tools to analyze ‘big data’ in Science. TMVA is a multi-variate analysis toolkit embedded into the ROOT analysis framework. It consists of various Machine Learning algorithms for binary and multi-class classification problems as well as regression analysis. The tutorial aims to provide an introduction and to demonstrate the capabilities of the TMVA framework in C++.
