Description
DFT was, at the beginning, created to incorporate the windings modes and in this way get stringy features in a field theory. But then section condition appeared and all the motivation was lost. In this talk I will speak about new ways of incorporating windings and going beyond the section condition, taking advantage of the enhancement property of string theory.
