Description
This tutorial is organized in the framework of the France-Asia Particle Physics Laboratory.

The goal of this 2-days long event is to allow participants to get  hands-on experience on using DIRAC from the end-user point of view. As a participant, you will learn how to install DIRAC client software in your personal computer, how to submit jobs, manage their lifecycle and retrieve their results. You will also be exposed to the data management services offered by DIRAC.

The third day is intended for DIRAC system administrators and the topics that will be covered are related to the installation, configuration and day-to-day operations of a DIRAC installation for supporting multiple virtual organizations.

The tutorial will be held on the premises of IHEP computing center, located on IHEP campus. The tutors are members of the DIRAC core development and operations team affiliated to France's IN2P3.

Instructions for registered participants: you are expected to read and follow the instructions given here, preferrable well before the tutorial starts. They are intended to prepare the computing environment you will use during the tutorial.
