Description
We present the first results about the studies of UHECR arrival directions using the first data collected at the Pierre Auger Observatory (the present data set corresponds to ~ 1 year
of acquisition of the complete southern array).
We discuss in particular the analysis of large-scale patterns in the sky distribution of cosmic rays and the search for a correlation between the arrival directions of UHECR and some galactic (i.e. the Galactic Center) and extra-galactic targets, that are possible candidate sources of UHECR.
We present moreover the observed correlation between cosmic rays with energy above 60 EeV and the positions of nearby active galactic nuclei.
