Caen has a wide range of hotels with prices starting from around €60-70/night (single room) which may be easily booked via the usual web based booking sites.
We note that many of the well-known chains with hotels in and near central Caen, such as Accor (Ibis, Ibis Styles, Mercure, Adagio) and Best Western, offer reduced rates for advanced pre-payed bookings via their own websites, as do other hotels via their own web sites or via web based booking sites.
There are two hotels within walking distance of LPC:

In addition there is studio-style accommodation:

Note, however, that there are very limited dining options available in this area and, unless you are travelling by car, we suggest staying in central Caen.
Most of the hotels in the downtown area of Caen are within easy walking distance of the tramway. The most convient hotel in terms of the Caen railway station and the tramway (direct trams to LPC) is the "Ibis Styles Caen Centre Gare", which is next to the Orne River and the yacht harbour and close to a large selection of restaurants and cafes/bars.
