This workshop is organized as a collaboration between:

  1. CMB-Inflate program - funded by European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 101007633,
  2. JSPS Core-to-core Program - Exploration of the origin and evolution of matter and space time: a research consortium for cosmic microwave background, PI Akito Kusaka,
  3. The KEK Institute of Particle and Nuclear Studies KEK-IPNS,
  4. The International Center for Quantum-field Measurement Systems for Studies of the Universe and Particles WPI-QUP.

The goals of this workshop are:

  1. Review the latest results in CMB science
  2. Define synergies between space-based and ground-based CMB measurements, data analysis, component separation and instrument development and modeling.
  3. Following the core principles of the CMB-Inflate and Core-to-core programs, create strong international bonds between researchers and promote younger generations.

Because of internal regulations we ask all participants who are  employed by institutions outside of Japan to register no later than December 22, and submit a CV.

A poster session will be held on Jan 27, during the lunch break. With food provided in the poster session area.

Please let us know if you plan to present a poster when you register for the workshop.

If for any reason you did not register your poster in the registration form but you still want to present a poster, let Tommaso Ghigna know at tomma@post.kek.jp no later than January 20.

Accommodation and Transportation:

KEK is located about 10 km from Tsukuba station. We recommend participants to book an hotel near Tsukuba station.

A shuttle bus will be provided for the workshop participants between Tsukuba station and the conference venue. 

The bus will leave at 9 am from Daiwa Roynet Hotel near Tsukuba station (google maps). And will come back to the same location after the end of the workshop.

More information will be provided to registered participants the week before the workshop.
