Transport

We highly encourage everyone to come by train. Bordeaux is very well connected to most cities in France, and is only 2 hours from Paris by TGV high speed train. The train station is easy to reach with tramway line C from/to the city center (Place des Quinconces). Several buses can also take you from/to Place de la Victoire (20 minutes by foot). From Place des Quinconces and Place de la Victoire you can use the tramway line B to go to the campus.

There are also direct flights to London (Ryanair and Easyjet), Amsterdam (KLM),  Barcelona, Marseille (Air France) and Frankfurt (Lufthansa). To reach Bordeaux from the airport, there is a shuttle bus service between the airport and the train station (Gare Saint Jean) and the tramway line A from the airport to Bordeaux city centre. • From Tuesday to Friday : at the Laboratory of Astrophysics (building B18N, dark blue square on the map below). To go there from the city center, take the tramway line B heading to "Pessac" (or "Bougnard") and get off at the stop named "François Bordes", located 200 m from building B18N where the meeting will be.
