Autumn 2023 H.E.S.S. collaboration meeting, Bordeaux

Welcome to Bordeaux for the second collaboration meeting of 2023 !

The meeting will take place on the campus in Talence, from monday 25th september 14:00 to friday 29th september 12:00. Details on travel and local directions can be found in the Travel section.

We will provide the possibility to attend the meeting online. We will favour presentations in person, but presentation via zoom will be possible if you cannot make it and if no one attending in person can present for you.

Weather in Bordeaux is classified as "oceanic": this is a good way of saying that the average annual rainfall prevents it from being "mediterranean". You may want to bring an umbrella ! The average temperature in late September is 22 degrees which still allows some sightseeing, a visit to vineyard, or to go to the Arcachon Bay to climb the Dune du Pyla (see the Tourism section).

The registration fee amounts to 165 euros. It includes coffee breaks, 3 lunches (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and the social dinner on Wednesday 27th September. 

The deadline for registration AND payment is Friday 8th September.
