Description
In the last few years, the Italian Institute for Nuclear and Particle Physics Research (INFN) established several, fruitful collaborations between Japanese and Italian researchers, in both experimental and theoretical fields.
Just as an example it is worth to remind the Japanese contribution to the FINUDA experiment at DAΦNE (LNF) and the participation of Italian Groups to the Belle experiment at KEK and to E05 and E13 experiments at J-PARC.
Bilateral collaboration are established as well within the nuclear structure and nuclear astrophysics communities with RIKEN and in the applied physics sector.
A review of the current and planned initiatives will be presented, with particular emphasis on the most important achievements.
