ESFRI Cluster Projects

ENVRI FAIR

The ENVRI community is a community of Environmental Research Infrastructures, projects, networks and other diverse stakeholders interested in environmental Research Infrastructure matters. The community also includes e-infrastructures supporting the Research Infrastructures in data solutions.

EOSC-Life

In the simplest terms, EOSC-Life is:

  • 13 European life science Research Infrastructures

  • making their data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable)

  • so that researchers can combine resources from multiple RIs for new research funded through our Open Calls

  • and receive support through the variety of additional services we offer, including alignment with relevant standards and policies (GDPR, etc.)

ESCAPE

ESCAPE (European Science Cluster of Astronomy & Particle physics ESFRI research infrastructures) brings together the astronomy, astroparticle and particle physics communities. With this, ESCAPE puts together a cluster with ESFRI projects with aligned challenges of data-driven research, with demonstrated capabilities in addressing various stages of data workflow and concerned with fundamental research through complementary approaches.

PANOSC

The PaNOSC project, Photon and Neutron Open Science Cloud, brings together six strategic European research infrastructures, and the e-infrastructures EGI and GEANT, with the goal of contributing to the construction and development of the EOSC, an ecosystem allowing universal and cross-disciplinary open access to data through a single access point, for researchers in all scientific fields. PaNOSC is working in tight collaboration with its sister project ExPaNDS in which most of the national Photon and Neutron RIs are represented.

SSHOC

Social Sciences & Humanities Open Cloud (SSHOC) is a project funded by the EU framework programme Horizon 2020 and unites 20 partner organisations and their 27 associates in developing the social sciences and humanities area of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). SSHOC will transform the current social sciences & humanities data landscape with its disciplinary silos and separate facilities into an integrated, cloud-based network of interconnected data infrastructures.
