Description
The purpose of this visit is: "... to have a discussion about concerns, the status of the resources and the performance of the services and understand the plan of work. We would appreciate discussions with the technical people responsible. The goals of the meetings would be to agree on a list of actions with time-scales to address the areas of concerns where appropriate.       This talk will address the major modifications to the power and cooling infrastructure of the site performed during the last 12 months and present the perspectives in this respect.

      Overview of the LCG-France tier-1 and analysis facility at CC-IN2P3
      This talk will present the tier-1 and analysis facility at CC-IN2P3 for the 4 LHC experiments, with special focus on CMS. Subjects such as budget, pledges, human resources and the computing infrastructure (batch farm, storage, connectivity) will be briefly addressed.

      This talk aims to provide a view of the CMS-specific services provided at CC-IN2P3 for both the tier-1 and the tier-2, including data import/export (Phedex) and data processing activities (production, reprocessing, etc.).

      Storage of CMS data at CC-IN2P3
      This talk will present the disk- and tape-based data storage infrastructure for the CMS tier-1 and tier-2 at CC-IN2P3. A summary of the recent upgrades of the major software components of this infrastructure (HPSS and dCache) will be addressed in preparation of the start of collisions data taking.
