The TGV train connects Strasbourg with Paris in less than 1h50 minutes at 320 km/h. In addition, the TGV has direct connections from the international Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris to Strasbourg. High speed trains are also available from Germany as well as local trains from Offenburg.

Many European cities have direct flights to Strasbourg airport (Entzheim). The airport has a convenient rail shuttle connection to the main railway station in the city, running roughly every 15 min. A taxi ride to/from the airport takes about 20 min and costs around 40 euro.

Another option is to fly to Baden-Baden Airport, located in Germany but only 45 min drive from Strasbourg. Overseas participants may also choose to fly to Frankfurt Airport and then take the Lufthansa Express Bus to Strasbourg (departing 6 times a day, 2h45 min trip).
