Description
In context of the R & D for the CBM-RICH detector [1], a prototype detector has been developed in Pusan, Korea. This RICH prototype detector with a spherical concave CBM-Mirror [2] and Multi-anode PMTs (H8500 & H8500C-03, Hamamatsu) is tested at an electron beam (p_e ~60MeV/c) at the Test LINAC in the Pohang Accelerator Laboratory in Korea.
This poster will present the preliminary detector performance with nitrogen gas as radiator and the operation of a gas monitoring and Control System (GCS) based on PVSSII.
