Description
In this seminar, I will discuss several aspects related with the asymptotic behaviour of correlation functions in one dimensional condensed matter physics. After discussing the various heuristics predictions for the large distance behaviour of the correlation functions, I will shortly review the developments that took place in respect to the computation and analysis of correlation functions in quantum integrable models. This will lead me to describe the various types of representations for the correlators, which can be seen as certain multidimensional generalizations of the Fredholm series. I will then discuss the recent results relative to the large-distance and long-time asymptotic behavior of two-point functions in gapless quantum integrable models at zero temperature. These results go beyond the scope of predictability of conformal field theory or of the Luttinger liquid approach.
