Direct CP Violation in Charm: Recent Results

I will review recent progress in the measurement of CP violation in decays of charmed mesons. Results are interesting, in that they lie somewhat outside the preferred Standard Model ballpark. I will qualify this statement, and discuss possible interpretations beyond the Standard Model.
