5th FCPPL workshop - Bulletin I
The 5th workshop of the France-China Particle Physics laboratory will be held on March 21st to March 23rd. It will be jointly organized by the LAL (IN2P3, Orsay) and Irfu (CEA, Saclay) laboratories. The venue of the workshop will be CEA for two days, LAL for one day.
During this workshop, the various existing collaborations within the FCPPL framework in the fields of particle physics, related technologies, theory, cosmology or astroparticles will present the status and results of their work for the elapsed year.
The FCPPL steering committee will then review and evaluated the proposals formulated to FCPPL on March 24th.
Lodging will be proposed in the small town of Saclay. Accommodations fees will be covered by FCPPL for the Chinese participants to the workshop. The transfer to the hotel upon arrival and to the workshop will be organized by charter buses.
A visit of the Saclay-Orsay scientific park (one of the major French pole for science) will be arranged during the workshop. It is also foreseen that a group visit of the Versailles castle and a tour to Paris with a diner cruise will be arranged on March 24th for interested persons (only the dinner would be possible for the steering committee members).
