Description
In this twofold seminar I will first address how self-annihilating (or
decaying) DM should leave an imprint on the CMB power-spectra, thus making
it an interesting observable for DM detection; or, in absence of any
signal an exquisite tool for model constraining (self-annihilation cross
section/lifetime). In the second part I will address the effect that Weakly Interacting DM
particles have on the structure of the Sun, and how this should result in
a modification of thermal, nuclearly procuced neutrinos. This makes the 8B
neutrino flux at Earth an observable for WIMP DM model constraining (spin
dependent elastic scattering cross section).
