How to reach HIL?

The maps should help you to find your way:

 

If you are arriving by plane to Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) you can:

  • Take the bus line 175 or 188 from the stop in front of the terminal and get off at the Banacha-Szpital. The ride usually takes about 15 minutes, under typical traffic conditions. The distance from the stop to the Laboratory is approximately 500 meters.
  • Take a taxi. The taxi price to HIL should not exceed 50 PLN (about 12 EUR) on weekdays. On weekends and at night, you will pay twice as much.
  • Beware of unlicensed taxi drivers who may offer rides at inflated prices. We strongly recommend using only licensed taxis. You can find licensed taxis right in front of the arrivals hall exit.

If you are arriving by train at Warszawa Centralna (Warsaw Central railway station) you can:

  • Take tram line 7 or 9 or 25 heading toward Banacha or Okecie from the stop which is in front of the train station (Aleje Jerozolimskie side) and get off at the 6th stop (Och-teatr). The Laboratory building is located about 400 m from this stop.
  • Take bus line 175 (direction Lotnisko Chopina/Chopin Airport) or 504 (direction Kabaty) or 128  (direction Szczesliwice) from the stop in front of Warszawa Centralna station (at Aleje Jerozolimskie street) and get off at the stop Banacha-Szpital (it’s 5th stop for lines 128,175, 504).

 

Bus and tram tickets (4.40 PLN for a ticket valid for 75 minutes) can be purchased from ticket machines located near the stops or inside the vehicles.
