Description
The EUCLIDES array is a silicon ΔE-E detector system designed for the detection and identification of charged particles in nuclear physics experiments, and has been extensively used as an ancillary detector for $\gamma$-ray spectroscopy. This contribution will provide an overview of the EUCLIDES array, including its detector configuration, main characteristics and coupling with $\gamma$-ray spectrometers. The performance of the detector system will also be discussed, with particular focus on its energy resolution and on recent characterization measurements.
