Practical Information

We look forward to welcoming you to the RJP! Below you'll find all the key details to help your day go smoothly. Please take a moment to read through the information below.

• Date, Time & Meeting Point

The event will take place on Friday, 13th June 2025. We’ll meet at the Institut des Nanotechnologies de Lyon (Bâtiment Irène Joliot Curie, 3 Rue Enrico Fermi, 69100 Villeurbanne). Your arival and registration can be done between 8:40AM and 9:00AM. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time.

• Getting There

The venue is easily accessible by public transportation. The INL building is 6 min walking away from the "Université Lyon 1" T1 and T4 tramway stations. There is also a C26 bus station ("La Doua") 9min walking away from the conference. 

If you need further solutions, you can visit the TCL website to find a way to the conference.

 • Check-In & Badges

When you arrive, please check in at the welcome desk to pick up your name badge. This will help everyone connect more easily throughout the day and identify people who registered and are allowed to access lunch and coffee breacks.

• Schedule Overview

The day will be structured around several sessions and breaks. Here's a quick overview:

  • Morning sessions: from 9:10AM to 10:30AM and from 11:00AM to 12:20AM

  • Lunch break: from 12:20PM to 1:45PM

  • Afternoon sessions: from 1:45PM to 3:05PM and from 4:15PM to 5:35PM

  • Evening cocktail: from 6:00PM to 7:30PM

• Poster Session

Posters will be printed by our team and displayed during the coffee breaks, which will also serve as key discussion moments. No need to bring anything—just be ready to share your work and chat with others!

• Artists & Guests

We are happy and honored to host two artists throughout the day : Paul Royaux (@paul_royaux on instagram) and Clarisse Gauvreau (@clarissegauvreau on instagram) will present an exhibition of their artwork inspired by science. Their pieces will be on display throughout the day. Don’t miss the chance to discover their work and engage with them during the breaks! 

• Image Rights

A photographer (Louise Mollier-Sabet, @louiise_ms on instagram) will phtograph the event throughout the day. Please let us know if you do not wish to appear in photos taken during the event. 

• Lunch & Evening Cocktail

A vegetarian lunch will be provided. Please note: no bottled water will be available at lunch, so don’t forget to bring your own water bottle!
In the evening, we invite you to join us for a cocktail to wrap up the day and continue the conversation.

The lunch will take place in a different building close to the conference place (2min walking): the APPN room, located under the Maison d'Hôte builing (5-7, rue Ada BYRON, 10-12 rue Enrico FERMI, 69100 Villeurbanne). For people attending the morning session, a common departure will be organized.

• Awards & Jury

A few prizes will be awarded during the event to reward the best presentations (according to the jury, and according to YOU, the public!) and the best posters.

The jury and selection process will be explained during the day, so stay tuned!

• Cleanliness & Waste Management

Let’s keep the space clean and respectful. Please dispose of waste properly and use the bins provided, especially after the lunch.
