4. Descriptions

Each submission must include two descriptions:

Scientific Description

Feel free to include any additional information you believe is necessary to help the audience fully understand the scientific aspect of your submission.
(Recommended length: 1,800-2,500 characters).

Artistic Description

Describe the creative inspiration behind your submission. Highlight the artistic choices you made and how they connect to the scientific elements of your work. This description should also be accessible to non-specialists. Feel free to include anything that will help the audience appreciate the artistic and scientific connection in your work.
(Recommended length: 1,800-2,500 characters).

The quality and accessibility of both the scientific and artistic descriptions to a broad, non-specialist audience will be taken into account during the selection process and for awarding prizes.

5. Selection Process

Submissions will be reviewed by an interdisciplinary jury composed of scientists and artists. The evaluation will focus on the artistic quality and the accessibility of the descriptions. Scientific merit will not be considered in the selection process.
