Description

The tension on the Hubble constant can be reformulated as a tension on the matter density parameter ${\omega }_M$. This has the advantage that ${\omega }_M$ is more directly connected to the CMB-derived parameters, unlike the Huble constant. With the recent DESI measurement, the tensoin is raised up to over6 $\sigma$, stronger than the tension on the Hubble constant.
