Travel info

The Léon Bérard Cancer Center is best reached via public transportation. The metro and tram stop is called "Grange Blanche". See the Venue page for a map how to reach the building where the hacakthon will take place.

If you come by train:

You will likely arrive at the Part-Dieu train station. From there, take Metro B towards "Gare d'Oullins" and switch to Metro D at "Saxe Gambetta". Take Metro D towards "Gare de Vénissieux" and get of at "Grange Blanche".

You can buy tickets at the vending machines in the Metro stations (1 hour ticket - 2 Euro).

You can download a pdf of the line plan here or install the "TCL app" on your cell phone for interactive journey planning.

If you come by airplane:

Take the "Rhone Express" shuttle train from Saint Exupéry airport and get off at the final destination "Part-Dieu" train station. Continue from there following the description above.

You can buy tickets for the Rhone Express via the website or via the RhoneExpress app on your phone. Return trip tickets are cheaper than two individual rides.

If you come by car:

Follow your navigation system to "Centre Léon Bérard, 28 Prom. Léa et Napoléon Bullukian, 69008 Lyon, France" and park somewhere around the hospital. The parking situation tends to be tense - prefer public transport.
