Description
The ATLAS Liquid Argon Calorimeter has been commissioned with cosmic
muons and "beam splash" events during the years 2008 & 2009.
A paper has been submitted to EPJC "Readiness of the ATLAS Liquid
Argon Calorimeter for LHC Collisions" and is in the process of being
accepted as a publication. The performance obtained will be presented
in the first part of the seminar.
Since the 23rd of November, ATLAS has collected collisions data at 0.9
and 2.36 TeV. The study of the detector reponse and of the
reconstruction
algorithms with collision data (very important step to carry on with
success the vast LHC physics program) complements nicely the earlier
sudies.
The second part of the seminar will be devoted to the presentation of
the first results.
