MSSM Parameters from Orbifold GUTs

Supersymmetric orbifold GUTs are well-motivated models for physics beyond the Standard Model. In this talk we will review how they can be derived from heterotic string theory, and discuss the resulting structure of the MSSM Higgs sector in particular cases. We will also analyze the mass spectrum and phenomenology of an explicit example.
