Description of the project:

We will start by a presentation of the CKMfitter project for the analysis of quark flavor couplings in the Standard Model. Then we will introduce the CKMlive online interface, that allows any user to perform her/his own analysis of the CKM matrix: http://ckmlive.in2p3.fr/. Please register beforehand directly on the website.

We will propose few analyses to exercise, but will welcome any (feasible) analysis proposed by the participants themselves.  Then we will have a synthesis discussion on the results, investigate possible improvements etc.

We plan three online meeting/discussions during the course of the workshop, and CKMlive homework between each meeting.

Preliminary requirements:

basic knowledge of the Standard Model, the CKM mechanism, and phenomenological interpretation of experimental data (statistics)
