How to get there?
Trains to Science Park Station
The nearest train station is Amsterdam Science Park.
The Science Park train station can be reached by direct trains from Amsterdam Centraal. There are four trains an hour each way, leaving:
- From Amsterdam Centraal to Science Park – at 10, 22, 40 and 52 minutes past the hour. Take the train in the direction of Zwolle or Amersfoort Vathorst. Usually they stop at platform number 10.
- From Science Park to Amsterdam Centraal – at 10, 28*, 40 and 58* minutes past the hour
*The :28 and the :58 trains from Science Park go directly to Schiphol Airport

After leaving the train, take the stairs down, turn left and go straight ahead under the railway bridge. Follow this route straight ahead for a about 300 metres, until you see the SURFsara building on your left. It takes you about 8 minutes to walk from the station to SURFsara building or Amsterdam Science Park Congress Centre.
Trains to Amstel Station
The second closest train station is Amstel Station. From there, you can take bus 40 or 240 to Science Park, make sure you get off the bus at the stop Science Park Aqua. Across the street you will find the SURFsara building or Amsterdam Science Park Congress Centre.
