DunHuang city:
The city of DunHuang is a desert oasis along the Silk Road, at the foot of the Tibetan plateau. It is a major touristic attraction in China, set at the foot of giant sand dunes with closeby caves holding numerous and beautifull buddhist statues & paintings dating back to the golden ages of the Silk Road.
The hotel can arrange a guidded tour to the Mogao cave (with English speaking guide) + access to the Crescent Lake sand dunes on Sunday April 28, for a total price around 600RMB. Persons interested should contact Huang Yan (Stella) in the first days of the workshop, and in any case before April 26.
