GRAND (Giant Radio Array for Neutrino Detection) is a proposal for an array of ~200'000 radio antennas to be deployed over an area of 200'000 km². GRAND will be a multi-messenger instrument for the detection of ultra-high-energy astrophysical neutrinos and cosmic rays. Its envisioned science program also includes searches for UHE photons and radio sources such as fast radio bursts.
A GRAND White Paper is in preparation. It details the GRAND science goals, achievable performance, and the steps to be taken towards the realization of the GRAND detector.
A workshop will be organised at IAP, Paris on August 22-24, 2018 to gather the participants in the GRAND proposal, finalize the writing of the White Paper, and discuss the next stages of the GRAND project.
Participation in the workshop is by invitation only, so if you are interested in GRAND and in participating in the workshop, please contact the organizers (see list at the bottom of the page).
