The registration fee is €50 per participant. This includes
- Coffee breaks;
- The workshop dinner on the first day (26 June)
Registration will remain open until the conference begins, but those who register after June 18th will not be able to join the workshop dinner.
If you will be accompanied by another guest who would like to attend the workshop dinner, please inform Matthew Charles and Emi Kou by email before June 18th so that an extra place may be reserved for them. In this instance, the additional payment for the guest will be handled directly by the restaurant.
Please note that the registration is done in two steps:
- Registration and payment.
You will be able proceed to the second step once the pre-registration has been validated by a member of the local organizing committee. Please note that the pre-registration alone is not enough to attend the workshop.
Registration procedure and links
IMPORTANT: Please read all of the information below carefully before starting your registration, click carefully, and keep this window/tab open for reference while you register. The registration software is unforgiving, and if you make a mistake or try to restart it may lock your registration in an incomplete state. If this happens, please contact us -- we will need to manually intervene to delete your registration, after which you will have to restart the process from the beginning. Therefore please proceed carefully!
- Special note for INFN participants: before completing the web forms, please read carefully the INFN-specific instructions below. This is necessary to ensure that the invoice contains all of the information that the INFN requires.
- Special note for CNRS participants: if would you like to pay by transfer between laboratories, please read carefully the CNRS-specific instructions below before completing the web forms.
The registration works in two steps. You should first proceed to the pre-registration, which is done through the following links, in French or in English. Please choose the "PARTICIPANTS - 50 €" category. When you complete this step, you should get an email confirming that "your pre-registration has been correctly saved".
Later on, once the pre-registration has been validated by the organizing committee, you will receive another confirmation email with a link for the Registration page. When you click on that link, please select "Validate your pre-record" (in the line corresponding to our workshop, XICC) and provide your name and email address to be identified. You will be then able to fill out the registration form and complete the process. (Please note: it can take a little time for the database to be updated, so if you click on the registration link and it gives you an error, please wait for a few minutes and try again. It may also be necessary to close the browser session between preregistration and registration.)
Payment can be done by credit card or bank transfer. (Please note that there is no option to pay cash upon arrival.) If paying by bank transfer, it will ask you for contact information for the transfer's sender: name, phone number, and email. Please enter your own email address; for the name and phone number you can either enter your own or those of a contact at your institution. After registration, you will receive an email containing the full details of where the bank transfer should be sent, and including a reference to quote in the transfer.
Once you complete this step you have been registered.
The INFN requires quite specific information on the invoice/receipt, without which they may refuse to reimburse you. To help us provide the invoice in the format requested by the INFN administration, during the second phase (registration) please fill the payer and tax information form as shown below, making sure to include "INFN". Please also make sure when entering your own information that you give your first name as well as your surname/family name. (Click for larger version of image. The Codice Fiscale is: 84001850589.)
Please follow the general instructions above. You can pay by your own credit card or by bank transfer.
If you would like the payment for the workshop to be made by direct transfer from your laboratory to LPNHE, please make sure in the registration step that the invoice is addressed "to organization's name" and enter CNRS as that name. Please select payment by "Transfer or purchase order" (or "virement ou bon de commande"). When prompted to give the "contact information for the transfer's sender" you can give either your own information or that of the "gestionnaire" of your lab (but in that case please check with them first). A PDF marked "Informations pour le bon de commande" will be sent to that email address; please make sure this PDF is passed to the gestionnaire of your lab, then ask them to make a "commande" in Gestlab and send it to the DR2 so they can create an invoice.
