Description
I will present an overview of some studies of charge and spin asymmetries arising from a number of $Z'$ models in the ttbar channel as a complement to more traditional searches. I focus on the power of charge and spin asymmetries over traditional cross section measurements to access different information about the chiral couplings of $Z'$s and thus profile such a particle, should it be discovered at the LHC. We have investigated the scope of $t\bar{t}$ asymmetries to distinguish various benchmark scenarios, on their own and in combination with other channels, as well as their potential to better probe new physics exhibiting more than one resonance using concrete models as examples.
