Description
The deflection of the trajectories of the CMB photons by intervening matter leaves in the observations of CMB anisotropies a statistical signature that can be efficiently used to extract information on the matter distribution at high redshift. In this talk I will present the recent results of the Planck Collaboration on the detection of gravitational lensing of the CMB and explain how the temperature-gradient correlations induced by CMB lensing can be efficiently used to produce the first full-sky map of the integrated matter distribution up to the last scattering surface.
