Search for new physics in Lambda_b decays

We suggest to exploit Lambda_b decays in o rder to look for hints to physics beyond the Standard Model. After a short discussion on the unsatisfactory aspects of the Standard Model, we introduce some T-odd observables, which we propose to use as probes for new physics in sequential decays. Then we analyze in detail three different types of charmless Lambda_b decays. In particular, we suggest tests for new physics, based essentially on analogies with some B decays which share the same basic Feynman diagrams.
